Stacy Barnett • Founder of Scentsabilities Nosework • Handler on Northeast SAR
Stacy Barnett is one of the top Nosework trainers and competitors in the sport, earning 13 Summit titles on her dogs, and has been Faculty at Fenzi Dog Sports Academy since 2015. She is also a certified SARTECH II and has certified her dog, K9 Prize, in Air Scent with both Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Council (PSARC) and NASAR Type 2 Area Search. Her youngest partner, Jack, is in training as a future HRD K9. Stacy has a degree in Chemical Engineering which enhances her understanding of air flow and compliments her dog training skills. She has instructed at seminars overseas as well across North America. Stacy is the founder of Scentsabilities Nosework, and has delivered over 250 educational webinars since 2017. Stacy also co-hosts the popular podcast, K9 Detection Collaborative. Stacy's teaching style brings together science with solid dog training fundamentals drawing from both the sport and working world.
