Kayla Fratt is a PhD student studying the use of detection dogs to locate wolf scat across 30 islands in Alaska's Tongass National Forest. She has been working with conservation detection dogs as a trainer and handler since 2019 and brings a wealth of experience working with rescue and shelter dogs as a behavior consultant. When not working with her own dogs in the field or studying statistics and genetics, you can find Kayla mentoring amateur conservation dog handlers through K9 Conservationists.
