Allie Long • Owner of Birch Valley K9

Allie began working with dogs professionally in 2015 when she started working with an internationally recognized service dog organization in Dayton, Ohio. In 2018 she decided to pursue dog training as a career and relocated to Hutto, Texas where she graduated from Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. In 2019 she moved to Santa Rosa, California where she attended and interned at The Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers. In 2023, she completed certification in the NePoPo Silver School and Gold School. She has had the opportunity to work with dogs from all walks of life, from obedience to protection, dock diving, nose work, trailing, and service dogs. With this experience she has learned how to use markers in a way that has made the communication between dogs and people much more black and white, which then leads to better relationship, understanding and success with your dog.
