Paul Ludwig

Paul Ludwig is a 25-year veteran K9 police officer from Washington, D.C., and the founder of IrondogK9. He nearly lost his life during a shooting when a police K9 failed to engage—an experience that shaped his mission to equip K9 teams with survival-focused training methods, adaptive deployment techniques, and strong critical-thinking skills. IrondogK9’s curriculum is built solely on firsthand lessons from Paul and law enforcement/military instructors who have survived life-threatening encounters.
