Mandy Tisdale • Training Director at National Disaster Search Dog Foundation

Joining the Search Dog Foundation in 2017, Mandy Tisdale brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her role as Training Director. She oversees SDF’s canine and handler training programs, guiding the development of prospective and graduate search teams, supervises and mentors the Canine Training Team, and plays a central role in shaping SDF’s Handler Training Program and training models. Her ability to effectively coach individuals on both ends of the leash is invaluable for forging meaningful and successful partnerships between handlers and dogs.

Mandy is a certified Canine Search Specialist on SDF’s roster with her human remains detection dog, Paul, and live-find search dog, Hope. In addition to her two search dogs, Mandy is also the proud owner of Gidget, a dog she adopted through SDF’s Lifetime Care program.
