Important Details

This live virtual program will be starting Monday, April 17th and will run through Friday, May 19th. Weekly group calls are on Mondays at 6pm Eastern (recorded) and 1:1 instructor support is available Tuesday - Friday.

Weekly calls are held on Zoom and the 1:1 training with your instructor is done via a free app called Voxer. We give you easy to follow instructions for using each of these apps and are available for any tech support you may need.

The specific virtual training format we use in TFR Boot Camp allows you and your instructor to work closely together over the course of 5 weeks instead of just a few days in a workshop. What I think is MOST important that you should know about me is that I am obsessed with learning how we can do our job better.

I have spent the past 20 years studying, learning and experimenting with different training approaches…and while I have developed techniques that I have a lot of success with, I am still always open to learn from others if they have ideas how to do it better.

Can you really do good dog training online?

The answer - DEFINITELY YES!

CFTE has offered various formats of virtual training and what we hear back from our students is that they indeed make significant progress with their training. Progress at speeds that would never have been possible if they only had access to limited in-person workshops.

TFR Boot Camp combines weekly group training calls, video sharing so you can show exactly what your dog is (or is not) doing, and 1:1 access to your instructor to focus on your specific training questions.

Don’t get us wrong, we would love to be training in-person with you. But we all know that is not feasible. TFR Boot Camp brings the best of our training knowledge to you in a practical way that will ensure you make steady and lasting progress.
But what about the technology?
I hate technology!

Trust us. We do too. That’s why we picked the simplest free apps we could find.

The weekly group call will happen on Zoom. You will get a link that will take you directly to the call. No passcodes or meeting id required. Simply click and join.

For the 1:1 video and question sharing, we use an app called Voxer. This app can be downloaded to your iPhone or Android for free with one click. We also provide a short tutorial on how to use Voxer and are here to provide any tech support you need.

Frequently Asked Questions
The group training calls on Mondays will be recorded and the 1:1 training throughout the week is done on your own schedule. You can send videos and questions 24/7 and can listen to the instructor's feedback whenever it is convenient for you.
All training materials, call recordings, and Training Plan PDFs will be available in your individual handler dashboard which you get access to immediately after you register.

TFR Boot Camp runs Monday, April 17th through Friday, May 19th, 2023. The group training call will happen on Zoom every Monday at 6pm Eastern and will be approximately 1 hour (depending on the number of questions). As for the 1:1 training with your instructor, the Voxer app is open 24/7 for you to submit questions and videos. The instructor will reply Tuesday through Friday within 24 hours between the hours of 9am - 6pm Eastern.
If you don’t feel like you learned anything new, let us know within one week of the completion of Boot Camp and we will issue you a full refund.
